Jazz's Arts has always been passionate about writing. A curious poet who loves exploring different motifs in writing. One of the best writers in Sierra Leone and his work is highly appreciated. As part of his writing process,He love immersing himself in his work, diving headfirst in deep thoughts and emotions.
In the last few years, Jazz has engaged in freelance writing and being paid. Making sure his clients are satisfied and giving them a quality work as they request.
On the release of his second book PhotoGraphic, he found out his skill in creative directing, as he directed all the shots in the book all of which where artists and unique.
Jazz is new to screen writing, though he has written several pieces for television series and movies, it’s only now he’s about to get one of his works on screen on a short movie call “Shades” which he co-wrote Ibrahim Koroma ( a young Sierra Leonean film maker and movie director)
Jazz, writes for a couple of websites including Ilongene magazine, an online magazine that covers all sort of writing, including journalism and creative writing. Though he has a webpage on Wordpress, he has other works on other webpages that comes with freelance writing and hence names withheld.
Jazz RollerCoaster Apollo ( Jazz’s art or JRC), used to be a musician signed to Roller coaster rap city, a music group that was based at the Sierra Leone Grammar school, but after a couple of years the group came to a stop. But Jazz has developed into a good lyricist, as he has ghost written for a couple of musicians and being paid.
Creative writing is a power work that stems from written poetry, short stories and novels. Jazz’s art has a wild range of written pieces that cover all these areas. He’s a prolific writer in these genre of writing. Jazz has written and published 2 books Huemotion and PhotoGraphic. Huemotion is a book of poetry that he did with a couple of other Sierra Leonean writers while he was still in school. Jazz however has recently produced another book title PhotoGraphic, a book of visual art and poetry. Both books are out for Sale. He was the Sierra Leonean Writer of the year according to Sierra Leone writers series( SLWS).
Sometimes, i feel the due you deserve is not coming your way as much as it should. The greats never did it easy too. Keep shinning, you're a great creative. I am proud to be existed along side you.
